John Toal introduces the third of four recitals from this year's Clandeboye Festival, recorded at the Clandeboye Estate outside Bangor, County Down. Today's concert features pianist Barry Douglas performing selections from Brahms's Piano Pieces Op 76, music written in the summer of 1878 at Pörtschach on Lake Wörth. This is followed by Schubert's ever-popular Piano Quintet in A major, D. 667, the "Trout". Barry Douglas is joined by Elina Vähälä (violin), Ruth Gibson (viola), Andrés Díaz (cello) and Chris Kelly (double bass).
