Hosted by Katherine Ryan. The eight remaining amateurs are back in the salon under the watchful eyes of judges Alain Pichon and Denise McAdam. The theme is history of the world, and the creations on offer include a volcano, a Grecian goddess, two geishas and Native American braids. 58-year-old retired teacher Lesley and 21-year-old Meggan's hairstyles feature curls, but will their curls put the judges into a spin or fall flat?
The four stylists who fail to impress will find themselves in the Eliminator - a quickfire round which this time focuses on cornrows. Cornrowing is notoriously difficult to achieve, and with just 40 minutes to braid their model's entire head, this is the stylists' toughest challenge to date.
