Hardeep Singh Kohli sits in for Clare Balding on the topical faith show. His guest is founder of the L'Arche communities, Jean Vanier, who was awarded the 2015 Templeton Prize last month. L'Arche is a network of communities which brings together people with and without learning disabilities to live and work together. Hardeep's faith guest is Canon Ann Easter.
The Templeton Prize recognises people who have made an exceptional contribution to life’s ‘spiritual dimension.’ Awarded in the past to The Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Mother Teresa amongst others, this year’s winner is Jean Vanier who founded L’Arche in 1964. Its purpose is for disabled and non-disabled people to live alongside and learn from each other. The Catholic theologian joins Hardeep to talk about his life’s work.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
