Steve has an in-depth conversation with Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon about Blur's new album The Magic Whip. The pair talk about the making of Blur's 8th studio album in Hong Kong and how it was created on days off on their last tour. It's 6 Music's Album of the Day, and so you will be able to hear the album in full throughout the day, for the first time anywhere. Steve spoke to the full band of, Damon, Graham, Alex James and Dave Rowntree, when the album and first single from it, Go Out, was announced in February. The band spoke about how the raw tracks were laid down in Hong Kong and then Graham Coxon worked with producer Stephen Street to form the album. This story continues today.
