The BBC Concert Orchestra returns to the Chichester Festival Theatre for the first time since the theatre's major refurbishment.
Ken Bruce is your master of ceremonies and Stephen Bell conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra with guest soloists Rebecca Bottone(soprano) and Gardar Thor Cortes(tenor) . The programme includes music from the Strauss Family - Johann I; Johann II, Josef and Eduard - as well as classics from the pen of Franz Lehar. Rebecca Bottone and Gardar Thor Cortes perform duets from The Merry Widow(Lehar) and The Birdseller(Zeller) and the BBC Concert Orchestra take on the Gold and Silver Waltz(Lehar) and the Emperor Waltz(Johann Strauss II) amongst many galops; polkas and mazurkas.
