Gerald Finley (baritone) and Julius Drake (piano) perform Schubert's Schwanengesang in the Angelika Kauffmann Hall in Schwarzenberg as part of the 2014 Schubertiade.
Founded by Hermann Prey in 1976, the Schubertiade is one of the most important and distinguished Schubert festivals in the world, presenting about 80 events each summer in the Austrian hill towns of Schwarzenberg and Hohenems.
In this first programme of highlights from concerts given this year in the Angelika Kauffmann Hall in Schwarzenberg, baritone Gerald Finley and pianist Julius Drake perform Schubert's posthumously published collection of late songs, Schwanengesang.
