Tom's mum is not best pleased when Tom's dad pressgangs her into helping out at a celebration he's planning to celebrate 168 years since the repeal of the Corn Laws ("Well, it'd be tempting fate to hold on for the bicentenary") and they've chosen the Toby Carvery as a suitable dining venue.
Meanwhile, Tom has decided to buy a flat in London, much to his gran's chagrin.
