The Battle for Rochester and Strood

Polly Evans hosts as prospective parliamentary candidates in the upcoming by-election for the Rochester and Strood constituency answer questions from an invited audience.

It's been called the most important by-election in the last 30 years. The people of Rochester and Strood will have the chance to vote in what could be a landmark poll on the 20th of November. Triggered by Mark Reckless's defection from the Conservatives to the UK Independence Party, the by-election could see Nigel Farage's party gain its second parliamentary seat. BBC South East's Polly Evans hosts a special programme where prospective parliamentary candidates will answer questions from an invited audience.
