Janice Forsyth talks to comedian Sara Pascoe about her first UK standup tour, writing about women, TV show W1A and more, and locks award winning editor Johnny Mains in her cellar to hear about the book he co-edited with comedian Robin Ince, Dead Funny, which features short horror stories written by some of the UK's top comedy talent, including Phill Jupitus, Stewart Lee, Katy Brand, Sara Pascoe and numerous others, and writer Cathie Devitt talks about her first book, Don't Drink and Fly, about a Glaswegian wine-guzzling witch who has too many skeletons in her closet. Friday is also Vinyl Verdict day, when Janice asks listeners to choose between two records to play out on at the end of the show - this week has a lupine theme - with Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London up against Duran Duran's Hungry like the Wolf.
