Sean Rafferty with a lively mix of music, chat and arts news. Guests today include the superstar pianist Lang Lang who performs live in the studio and introduces his new series of piano books 'Mastering the Piano', a 5 volume set for teachers and young students.

We also hear from the conductor Sir Roger Norrington who despite turning 80 earlier this year is still as prolific as ever. He talks to Sean about his upcoming Prom taking place tomorrow (Wednesday 3rd September), in which he conducts the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra for a concert of Beethoven, Berlioz and Dvorák.

Also performing at the Proms this week is saxophonist Timothy McAllister, who stops by the In Tune studio to perform some works and talk about his Prom on Thursday, in which he'll be giving the UK premiere of John Adams' Saxophone Concerto.
