Catherine Tate pops by

Catherine Tate joins Simon to talk about the return of David Walliams's BBC One series 'Big School.'

Over the last 10 years, Catherine has become one of our most beloved writers, actors and comedians. Her breakthrough BBC2 comedy sketch series, The Catherine Tate Show, saw the birth of one of the most well-known characters in British comedy, "Lauren am-I-bovvered Cooper". Tate also famously played Donna Noble in the fourth series of Doctor Who, opposite David Tennant's wild eyed Doctor.

Famous fans include Paul O'Grady, Ricky Gervais, Peter Kay and Dawn French who reportedly said after meeting her at Edinburgh Festival, "Catherine Tate is far too talented and she must be destroyed.".
