From the First Presbyterian Church, Rosemary Street in Belfast, Ronald Brautigam (piano) in Mendelssohn's Variations Serieuses, Op 54 and Schumann's Kreisleriana, Op 16.

Sean Rafferty introduces the first of four piano recitals recorded in Dublin and Belfast. Today's concert was recorded in the First Presbyterian Church, Rosemary Street in Belfast. Ronald Brautigam plays Mendelssohn's contribution to an album published to raise funds for a Beethoven monument in Bonn and Schumann's tribute to ETA Hoffmann and his most famous literary creation, Kapellmeister Kreisler.
