The start of a week on Late Junction with Max Reinhardt that includes a visit from Sam Willis and Alessio Natalizia, aka electronic music duo Walls. Their new CD Sound Houses is the culmination of their exploration of the Daphne Oram sonic archive which began a year ago as a Late Junction Session. On the menu tonight: Matthew Herbert's reworking of Mahler, Adam Storey's double bass version of Henry Eccles's Sonata Undecimo, Scottish hip hop from Loki, an excerpt from William Burroughs's The Piper Pulled Down the Sky, Lungful from vocalist/electronica artist Douglas Dare's debut CD, plus music from Eddie Harris & Gene McDaniels, Jimmy Reed and Mayra Andrade.
