Yevgeny Sudbin, Jan Latham-Koenig, Jasper Rees, Jonathan Guy Lewis

Presented by Suzy Klein. With live music from pianist Yevgeny Sudbin, Jan Latham-Koenig on conducting the Moscow-based Novaya Opera company and news from the BBC SSO's India tour.

Suzy Klein's guests include exciting Russian pianist Yevgeny Sudbin, winner of the Critics' Circle 2013 Exceptional Young Talent award. He'll be playing live in the studio.

Also today, Jan Latham-Koenig talks about conducting the Moscow-based Novaya Opera company on its first-ever visit to the UK - with Borodin's Prince Igor.

Why on earth would you pick up your french horn after a 25-year hiatus and decide to perform a Mozart concerto in front of the scariest of audiences - a room full of other horn players? Lapsed horn enthusiasts Jasper Rees and Jonathan Guy Lewis will be here to tell us, and Jonathan will perform a section from their play, "I Found My Horn", plus a bit of the aforementioned Mozart concerto.

And throughout the week we'll be catching up with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and violinist Nicola Benedetti on their India tour - a Commonwealth Games 2014 cultural and educational collaboration between The BBC, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the British Council.

Main headlines are at 5pm and 6pm.
