Episode 5 of 6

Series following a sanctuary for orphaned kangaroos in the outback. As winter draws in and the shack becomes overrun with mice, Brolga makes a life-changing decision.

Love is in the air at the sanctuary, as Brolga spends time with a woman who has fallen for him and his family of kangaroos, and fellow kangaroo carer Anne-Marie looks after Stewie, a sorry-looking joey who is itching for a bath.

A feral dog attack at the sanctuary sees Brolga patrolling the fenceline to protect his mob, and the next day he finds a casualty in the form of a joey which has been abandoned by its mother.

As winter draws in at the sanctuary and the shack becomes overrun with mice, Brolga makes a life-changing decision.
