Equality campaigner Lord Herman Ouseley says criticism of the Kick It Out anti-racism campaign in football is unfounded. Tackling the problem cannot fall to one small group.
The anti-racist campaign group Kick It Out rejects criticism from football fans that it's been ineffective in tackling racism in the game. A survey of 2,500 fans by researchers at Loughborough University has found that four out of five of the fans believed the group had failed to eradicate racism from the game. But Lord Herman Ouseley says it is unfair to lay the blame with a small group comprised mainly of volunteers.
