With Mike Score

Liz chats with Mike Score, frontman of 80's synth pop legends A Flock Of Seagulls. He has recently released his debut solo single All I Wanna Do. Liz gives listeners the chance to show-off their musical knowledge with themed tune suggestions. She chats to a listener about their favourite album in All Killer No Filler, which this week features Sonic Youth.
A Flock of Seagulls were very successful in the early 80's with their new wave sound, and in 1982 their single I Ran (So Far Away) was a global hit. It wasn't until the single Wishing (I Had A Photograph Of You), which came from their 2nd album Listen later that year, that they broke over here. Both the single and album made the top 10. However, they weren't able to repeat this success with the next 2 albums, and in 1986 the band only consisted of Mike Score, who put out occasionally releases in subsequent years.
