Andrew presents Heather with a radical proposition for their big day - but will she take him up on his offer? Later, a desperate Ben confronts Heather about Marsden's threat.

Heather entrusts Andrew with the envelope of money from Dot. Upset by her ruined wedding dress and fight with Shirley, Heather agrees to elope. She reconsiders when she sees Dot repairing her dress. Andrew cancels the wedding. When Heather’s preoccupied with a friend’s problems, Andrew’s annoyed and gives Heather train tickets - he’ll wait until 6. Heather tucks the tickets in her cleaning tabard. In the Vic, Andrew tells Billy the wedding’s off. When Shirley furiously snaps Heather’s not family, Heather realises Andrew’s all she needs and searches for the train tickets. Andrew leaves the Vic, forgetting his mobile. Jean notices him outside the tube station.
It’s Ben’s 16th birthday. Ian’s worried by the repercussions if the police find out Ben lied. Ben’s convinced Heather’s overheard and pleads that Phil’s a bully. Heather realises Ben lied to the police. Ben’s worried when DCI Marsden asks to review his statement. Ben insists he only said what Marsden wanted and is arrested for perverting the cause of justice. Heather’s leaving Shirley a voicemail when the door goes. Leaving the phone off the hook, Heather answers. Ben storms in, Jay follows. Insisting he can’t stay in Walford now Heather’s grassed, Ben searches for money. As Heather grabs him, Ben smashes her over the head with the ‘Best Friends’ photo frame. Heather falls, banging her head, and lies, lifeless.
With Phil’s hearing later, Shirley pleads Phil to change his mind but he refuses. Shirley’s overjoyed when, after Ben’s confession, Ritchie tells her Phil’s coming home.
Dot and Cora determine to fix Heather’s wedding dress using Mandy’s dresses from the charity shop. Jean wants them for Tiffany and Shenice but Cora seizes them.
Mandy’s shocked to see her ex, Alex, in the Vic. When Ian calls, Mandy lies she’s having a drink with Kim. Billy signs for Janine’s delivery of baby merchandise.
