The Awakening

Thriller. Haunted by World War I and the loss of her fiance, hoax exposer Florence Cathcart visits a boarding school to explain sightings of a boy's ghost.

Haunted by the death of her fiance, the cold and clinical Florence Cathcart is on a mission to expose seances as exploitative shams. However, when she is called to an English boarding school to investigate the sightings of a boy's ghost, she makes a discovery that forces her to confront her scepticism in the most terrifying way, shaking her scientific convictions and her sense of self to the very core.
