Penny Gore presents recent performances by the BBC Philharmonic - including two concerts given just last week - plus brand-new CDs of British Concertos for string instruments with the BBC's orchestras.

The BBC Philharmonic and their new Chief Conductor Juanjo Mena start today with their performance of Mahler's enormous Second Symphony, given at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on Saturday.
