Ross Kemp

Ross Kemp on his new book, Warriors: Britain's Fighting Heroes. Novelist Iain M Banks on his latest work, Surface Detail; and the future of music radio.

Ross Kemp talks to Richard about his new book, Warriors: Britain's Fighting Heroes, in which he talks about some of the heroes of Britain who fought in the two world wars. Ross also asks about his newest documentary - out next year - about some of the most dangerous places on earth, and tells us what soldiers need to eat in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Plus sci-fi novelist Iain M Banks on his latest work, Surface Detail, the latest addition to his series about the utopian Culture society.

And in the final half-hour, a discussion on the future of music radio. As the Radio Festival begins in Salford, we ask whether music radio's future should be left to commercial broadcasters, with guests Trevor Dann, John Simon and Paul Robinson.
