Schools, colleges and festivals all over Scotland are at the centre of a traditional music revival. We meet a group from Lews Castle College, Benbecula campus.

Schools, colleges and festivals all over Scotland are at the centre of a traditional music revival. Arising out of these institutions are talented singers and musicians who go onto successful careers in the music industry. In this programme we meet a group from Lews Castle College, Benbecula campus and another from the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music in Plockton, who are among the youngsters now at the forefront of this musical revitalisation. They gather in Ullapool to put on a special show case for this series reflecting on the rise in interest in traditional Scottish music.
