Tenor Mark Padmore joins the Britten Sinfonia, directed by Pekka Kuusisto, in Britten's Les Illuminations, with works by Purcell and Tippett, and a new work by Nico Muhly. A protÃ©gÃ© of Philip Glass, and collaborator of BjÃ¶rk and Rufus Wainwright amongst others, Nico Muhly is gaining a reputation as being one of the most impressive innovators of new music, effortlessly crossing the boundaries between classical and pop.
