BBC Philharmonic - Beethoven, Wagner

Presented by Petroc Trelawny.

In a concert given at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, Giandrea Noseda conducts the BBC Philharmonic in music by Beethoven and Wagner. After Beethoven's Overture to the incidental music, the Ruins of Athens, the BBC Philharmonic are joined by young virtuoso violinist Leonidas Kavakos for a performance of Beethoven's Violin Concerto.
