A Prom in which members of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra perform Mendelssohn's Octet and Berg's musical monument to friendship. Among the Arab and Israeli musicians playing side-by-side in the ensemble are Daniel Barenboim's violinist son Michael and his pianist protégé Karim Said, a relative of the orchestra's co-founder, the late Edward Said.
