Presented by Catherine Bott.

French conductor Stephane Deneve makes his debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in a programme of French works spanning the 20th Century. Debussy's Danse sacree et danse profane, evoking the seductive decadence of early 1900s Paris, contrasts with Poulenc's religious work Stabat Mater.
