2019 Price Band Table for the Royal Albert Hall

Please note: a booking fee of 2% of the total value – plus £2.00 per ticket (£1.00 per ticket for the Relaxed Prom) up to a maximum of £25.00 – applies to all bookings (including Season and Weekend Promming Passes), other than those made in person at the Royal Albert Hall. As the Royal Albert Hall approaches its 150th birthday in 2021, a multimillion-pound programme of restoration will be undertaken. In order to help fund this restoration, an optional £1.50 per ticket Restoration Levy will be added to tickets for concerts at the Royal Albert Hall only. *As most Grand Tier Boxes are privately owned, availability is limited.

From 9.00am on Friday 14 June, book your tickets for Proms at … Battersea Arts Centre and Proms at … Holy Sepulchre London at the Royal Albert Hall Box Office.

Please note that these concerts are not included in the Proms Planner.

Stalls (reserved): £16.00, Centre Gallery (reserved): £13.00 (booking fees apply), Promming tickets: £6.00, available on the day from Cadogan Hall.

Cadogan Hall tickets are available to book from 9.00am on Saturday 11 May and may be included in the Proms Planner.

From Saturday 18 May Cadogan Hall tickets can also be bought direct from Cadogan Hall (020 7730 4500*) as well as from the Royal Albert Hall Box Office. All online and telephone bookings made through the Cadogan Hall Box Office are subject to a fee of £3.00 per transaction.


On the day of the concert, tickets can be bought at Cadogan Hall only – from 10.00am. At least 150 Day Seats (Side Gallery bench seats) are available from 10.00am on the day of the concert. They must be purchased in person, with cash only, and are limited to two tickets per transaction.


Save by buying a Proms at ... Cadogan Hall Pass, available from 9.00am on Thursday 9 May from the Royal Albert Hall.

Hear all eight Monday-lunchtime Proms concerts at Cadogan Hall for just £40.00 (plus £3.00 booking fee per transaction), with guaranteed entrance to the Side Gallery until 12.40pm (after which Proms Chamber Music Series Pass-holders may be asked to join the Day Queue).

From 9.00am on Thursday 9 May, Proms at ... Cadogan Hall Passes can only be purchased from the Royal Albert Hall and are subject to availability. Two passport-sized photographs must be provided before passes can be issued.


Please note: Proms at ... Cadogan Hall Passes cannot be purchased from Cadogan Hall.

Pre-concert events are free of charge and unticketed (seating is unreserved), with the exception of selected recordings of radio programmes as detailed in the concert listings, for which free tickets will be available from BBC Studio Audiences.

Places must be reserved in advance for the Proms Family Workshop on Sunday 25 August (visit the Proms website or call 020 7765 0557*).

All disabled concert-goers (and one companion) receive a 50% discount on all ticket prices (except Arena and Gallery areas) for concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and Cadogan Hall.

To claim this discount, call the Access Information Line 020 7070 4410* (from Saturday 11 May) if booking by phone. Note that discounts for disabled concert-goers cannot be combined with other ticket offers.


Tickets can also be purchased in person from 9.00am on Saturday 11 May at the Royal Albert Hall. The Box Office has ramped
access, an induction loop and drop-down counters.


Ambulant disabled concert-goers (disabled concert-goers who do not use a wheelchair) can also book tickets online from 9.00am on Saturday 11 May and use the online Proms Planner from 9.00am on Wednesday 17 April.


Please note that wheelchair spaces cannot be booked online or via the Proms Planner.

Tickets for persons aged 18 and under can be purchased at half price in any seating area for all Proms except the Last Night (Prom 75) and in any price band (except for £6.00 tickets) at any venue.

This discount is available through all booking methods.

We encourage anyone over 7 years old to attend.

Groups of 10 or more attending concerts at the Royal Albert Hall can claim a 5% discount on the price of Centre/Side Stalls or Rausing Circle Front/Mid/Rear tickets (excluding the Last Night), subject to availability.

Prom on the day – up to 1,350 Promming (standing) places in the Arena and Gallery are available on the day of each concert, for just £6.00.

A limited number of these tickets are released online between 9.00am and 12 noon on the day of each concert, with the exception of the CBeebies Proms (Prom 3 and Prom 5), Relaxed Prom (Prom 24) and The Lost Words (Prom 49), for which a limited number of Promming tickets will be available from 9.00am on Friday 10 May and the day before each of those concerts.

Any remaining Promming tickets are sold in person when the doors open.

Tickets can be purchased in person with cash or contactless payment card. Ticket purchases are made as you enter, in queue order, through the relevant doors – approximately one hour before the start of each concert (30 minutes before Late Night Proms).

Tickets are limited to one per person, with the exception of the CBeebies Proms (Prom 3 and Prom 5), Relaxed Prom (Prom 24) and The Lost Words (Prom 49), for which four tickets per person will be available.

Prommers who have purchased tickets online should join the relevant Arena or Gallery ticket-holders queue and are guaranteed entry only until the concert starts.

Season and Weekend Promming Passes

If you can’t get enough of Promming at the Royal Albert Hall, Season and Weekend Promming Passes give you even better value for money and guarantee you entrance to the Arena or Gallery standing areas (until 30 minutes before each concert).

Season and Weekend Promming Passes are valid for concerts at the Royal Albert Hall only and are subject to availability.

Please note

  • Season Passes are non-transferable and two passport-sized photographs must be provided before passes can be issued. ID may be requested upon entry.
  • Weekend Promming Passes must be purchased a minimum of two hours before the start of the first concert covered.
  • Prices vary for each weekend depending on the number of concerts included.
  • You may purchase a maximum of four Weekend Promming Passes per weekend.
  • There is no Weekend Promming Pass covering Proms 74 and 75.
