BBC Young Composer

BBC Young Composer creates opportunities and resources for 12 to 18 year olds across the UK who make their own original music.

BBC Young Composer has pulled together a wealth of composition resources for teachers with the hope of helping to inspire more young people to get creative with music and consider a career in the music industry. The BBC Young Composer Resource Hub includes a collection of films, lesson plans and special access to a composition tool from Spitfire Audio for teachers across the country.

We will be releasing more details about upcoming opportunities from BBC Young Composer this year, such as a day for young composers in the summer.

Who is BBC Young Composer for?
