Privacy Notice

This privacy statement describes how the BBC will process personal information which it collects from you in connection with ShareTakeCare.

You should read this statement carefully and ensure that you are happy with the way that your personal information will be used before you sign into ShareTakeCare using Facebook.

If you sign in, a Facebook dialog box will appear. This box will ask for your permission to allow access to the following data information:

Your full name, gender, user ID (a number which is then associated with your Profile Photo), your friend list.

ShareTakeCare will have access to all this data when you accept this permission, however we will only process and use this data when you are playing the game. Nothing is retained or stored.

There is a reason for processing this data:

We use your basic Facebook data in order to make the game as personal as possible to you, and to populate a series of fictional comments and photographs which will appear within the game.

This app has been created for Radio 1 / 1Xtra by a third party developer who may also have access to your information but they will only use that information in accordance with our instructions and not for their own purposes.

You will NOT need to modify your Facebook privacy settings to use the ShareTakeCare and none of your data will be stored.

You can share your score at the end of the game but no other information will be shared and that game will not be stored.

ShareTakeCare and Radio 1 / 1Xtra will not access your profile when you are not logged in to the game.

ShareTakeCare retrieves your data from Facebook and by agreeing to the terms and conditions you are confirming that this data is accurate.

If you want to terminate your agreement with ShareTakeCare, you may do so by deleting the application from your Facebook profile.

Please note that Facebook operates its own Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, which apply to ShareTakeCare. These are different to the BBC’s Privacy Policy and Terms and conditions; specifically, Facebook can use your information for its own business purposes. You should ensure that you are happy to agree to Facebook’s Terms and Conditions and its use of your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, before using ShareTakeCare.

The BBC’s Privacy Policy applies to ShareTake Care except as described above.
