Ferris & Sylvester in session for BBC Music Introducing
28 January 2019
"The mid-60s sounds of Greenwich Village combined with meatier blues tones"
Formerly solo artists in their own right, Issy Ferris and Archie Sylvester make music with elements of blues, folk and good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll, all from the kitchen of their flat. Or as Issy puts it: "It's all put together under Americana. Someone said 'alternative soul with a twist' which I thought was cool. It's all just pop isn't it?"
The duo had a successful 2018, supporting the likes of Eric Clapton and Robert Plant as well as playing the main stage at Wilderness Festival and BBC Music Introducing LIVE 18.
Ferris & Sylvester have been supported by BBC Music Introducing in Devon, as well as Radio 2's Cerys Matthews.
