BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2019

Saturday 15 – Saturday 22 June 2019

Single tickets available from Monday 18 March

Our audience is one of the most remarkable things about Cardiff Singer – passionate, opinionated and knowledgeable – it just wouldn’t be the same without you.

BBC Cardiff Singer of the World is a life-changing experience for twenty young singers at the start of their professional careers. Over four hundred gifted singers applied from all over the world, and the final twenty have made it through a rigorous selection process. Now they get to perform in front of our distinguished jury. They will be accompanied by two world-class orchestras – the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, conducted by Ewa Strusińska, and the Welsh National Opera Orchestra conducted by Ariane Matiakh.
