The TOP FOUR winning couples will have the time of their lives on GOLD CUP DAY at THE CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL – the pinnacle of Jump Racing, on FRIDAY 16th MARCH 2018, all courtesy of THE JOCKEY CLUB.
The fun and games will begin on THURSDAY 15th MARCH 2018, where you will attend THE CHRIS EVANS BREAKFAST SHOW and meet the brekkie show team.
After the show, you be transferred in luxury style to THE LONDON SHOOTING CLUB where you will take to the sky in an AGUSTA 109 helicopter headed towards the historic LYGON ARMS, set in the picturesque backdrop of the Cotswolds. You’ll have the opportunity to relax and make use of the hotel spa before freshening up for the evenings informal Drinks & Dinner in the hotels main restaurant along with Chris & the Team.
The following day it will be an early start with transfers to JACKDAWS CASTLE, the home of top Jumps racehorse trainer Jonjo O’Neil, where you will see the breakfast show broadcast live. Courtesy of Jonjo, his family and team, you will be treated to a CHAMPAGNE BREAKFAST, followed by a GUIDED TOUR of the multi-million-pound training facilities for the horses in his care – including a peek inside his Equine Swimming Pool and Solarium. Plus, you’ll get the chance to watch some of the UK’s top jump horses in training with a tour of the Gallops
Then it’s time to head to Cheltenham Racecourse for Gold Cup Day which is arguably the best day’s racing of the year, with an atmosphere to match. After luxury transfer to Toddington Railway Station, you will step back in time and relish FIRST CLASS TRAVEL as you enjoy some fizz and a stress-free 35-minute journey through beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds, Malverns and Vale of Evesham pulled by the ATR EXPRESS STEAM TRAIN LOCOMOTIVE – It’s the only way to travel, arriving directly behind the main grandstand at the Cheltenham Racecourse.
The day does not stop there, you will enjoy a fine dining experience at Cheltenham’s sold-out CHEZ ROUX Restaurant. There will be a Champagne Reception and Canapés on arrival, followed by an exquisite 4-Course Lunch and Afternoon Tea, where world-renowned chef Albert Roux is master of the menu. You will be perfectly positioned in prime location to watch all the action on the Racecourse from the restaurants private balcony.
Along with VICTORIA PENDLETON, your Cheltenham HOST will be English former Jump Jockey who won The Grand National in 1981 – BOB CHAMPION MBE. Bob will give you a guided tour of the PARADE RING, where access is normally exclusively for racehorse owners, trainers and jockeys - watch the horses being paraded ahead of their race, and listen out for tactics to win as they are whispered between trainers and jockeys.
That evening it will be Helicopter transfers from Cheltenham back to London.
Chez Roux hospitality for Gold Cup Day includes Champagne, Four-Course Lunch and Afternoon Tea, with prime view of the Racecourse action via the private restaurant balcony.
There is NO dress code at Cheltenham Racecourse, but the organisers encourage guests to dress for the weather.
Successful bidders will be expected to make their own way from The London Shooting Club to their destination.
