The top four bidding couples will attend The Henley Royal Regatta to watch all the action on the water.

The fun will start early o’clock on Friday 5th July 2019 when you arrive at The Compleat Angler, Marlow to be met by your Skipper for the day – Captain Chris.

You’ll board Sunstar - a 1963 Bates Starcraft, for a leisurely champagne breakfast cruise to Henley.

You’ll have a regal arrival at Henley itself, where you will alight at the Royal Barge Mooring right next to the Stewards Enclosure. On arrival, you’ll be met by our superstar host James Cracknell and whisked in by security direct into the prestigious Stewards Enclosure.

In the enclosure, you’ll enjoy a relaxed three-course lunch, with access to the enclosure's many bars, hosted by James and his rowing pals.

After taking in the rowing, it will be a return to Marlow, where dinner will be served at Sindhu restaurant and hosted by highly acclaimed chef Atul Kochhar and his team.

Your package will include overnight accommodation at The Compleat Angler.

It’s sure to be a day to remember!

Requirements

Age restrictions apply. You must be a minimum of 18 years of age to attend.

There is a strict Dress Code at in the Stewards Enclosure. Ladies are required to wear dress or skirts with hemline below the knee. Ladies will not be admitted wearing divided skirts, culottes or trousers of any kind. Whilst not a requirement, it is customary for ladies to wear hats.

Gentlemen are required to wear suits, jackets or blazers with flannels, together with a tie or a cravat. No one will be admitted into the enclosure wearing shorts or jeans.

The use of mobile phones for making or receiving calls is not permitted within the enclosure. More info can be found here.

Successful bidder will need to sort own travel to The Complete Angler on Friday 5th July 2019 and return home from Marlow on Saturday 6th July 2019.

Accommodation at The Compleat Angler on Friday night is on a bed and breakfast basis.

All winners must abide by any third party health and safety policies.

All monies must be received within two weeks of the auction closing date. Staff at BBC Radio 2 and BBC Children in Need will ensure all Auction Items are claimed and paid for within two weeks of the auction closing date. Neither the BBC nor BBC Children in Need can accept any liability for payments not received as a result of failures in the postal service or otherwise.
