Pride 2004 - events

Pride is being held between Thursday 9th September and Sunday 12th September, though the London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival continues into October. Here's a list of events.


Thursday 9 September

QUEER STORYTELLING FESTIVAL

ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR
The Sanctuary Arts Centre, 2 Clare Street, Northampton
Thursday: 7.30pm to 9.30pm.  Friday & Saturday: 11.00am to 4.00pm
This is an invitation to all LGB artists and craftspeople in Northamptonshire to display or demonstrate their work and talent: paintings, drawings, pottery, photographs or any other crafts.  For more details, call Rich Larsen on 07796 955649.

FORGOTTEN FAIRYTALES

Members of the lesbian, gay and bisexual community talk frankly about their lives. An exhibition in images and sound.

Events taking place in the beer garden include 'Dykes v Fags' tug-of-war, killer pool, prize karaoke and a charity auction.

PRIDE NIGHT

Starts in the evening following the BBQ.
Includes a guest drag act at 11.00pm.

Sunday 12 September

PRIDE CHILL OUT
Abington Park, Northampton
12.00 noon to 8.00pm
Free admission.
Events include a beer marquee, live music from Invocal, Hindsight and Mycoma, market stalls and information stands.

SING-A-LONG-A ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW
