Thousands of people gathered in London's Trafalgar Square, close to where Wednesday's terror attack took place, for a candlelit vigil to honour those who lost their lives.

Four people were killed by the attacker in Westminster. People at the vigil laid flowers and candles and left messages of support for the families of all those affected.

Emergency services were praised for how quickly they responded to the attack and there have been lots more police officers on the streets of London and around the UK keeping people safe.
