In Pictures: Strictly Come Dancing spooky special

The ballroom was full of ghosts and ghouls on Saturday night, as Strictly got its annual spook-tacular makeover.
The Strictly ballroom was transformed into something out of everybody's nightmares for Halloween week. The judges were certainly in for a fright in the booooo-rilliant group dance!

Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton's energetic charleston saw them sail into next week, after getting a fantastic score of 35 from the judges.

Judge Rinder's costume was FRIGHTFULLY good! This week, he took on a Paso Doble with his partner Oksana Platero - and secured his spot in the show next week.

Claudia Fragapane and her (American) smooth partner AJ Pritchard impressed the judges and zoomed to the top of the leader board.

Unfortunately, Anastacia and Brendan Cole's jive didn't excite the judges, which left them at the bottom of the leader board and landed them in Sunday night's dance-off.

Despite some scarily good dances in previous weeks, Danny Mac made a few mistakes which meant he didn't get a very high score for his foxtrot with partner Oti Mabuse - but they still made it into next week.

A feisty tango from Laura Whitmore and Giovanni Pernice received praise from the judges and they whizzed to joint top of the leader board, alongside Claudia and AJ.

Like Danny Mac, Ore Oduba made some errors this week that left him and Joanne Clifton in the middle of the leader board for their charleston - but they dance to see another day!

A haunting rumba from Greg Rutherford and Natalie Lowe left them quite near the bottom of the leader board - but they avoided the dance-off and will be back to dance again next week.

Even though their Paso Doble impressed the judges, Daisy Lowe and Aljaz Skorjanec found themselves in Sunday night's dance-off for the second week running.

For the first time this series, Ed Balls and Katya Jones didn't find themselves at the bottom of the leader board, after a spookily entertaining Cha Cha.

Despite a great performance in the dance-off against Daisy and Aljaz, the Strictly family said goodbye to Anastacia this week.
