Who's on Strictly Come Dancing 2016? All 15 contestants

The full line-up for Strictly Come Dancing 2016 is now out. Find out who's hitting the dance floor...
Fresh from winning a bronze medal in the long jump at Rio, Greg Rutherford has joined the Strictly line-up. He's not the only Olympic athlete to take part - there's also gymnast Claudia Fragapane. Strictly just got more competitive!

EastEnders star Tameka Empson is swapping Walford for the waltz. She said: “I have been waiting for years to take part in Strictly and I’m so excited that finally I get to show the nation my moves! It’s always been a dream and I can’t wait to get started!"

Actress Lesley Joseph is probably best known for being on a TV comedy show called Birds of Feather. She said: "I will try my best and enjoy this amazing experience!”

Reality TV show star, Robert "Judge" Rinder is the 12th Strictly contestant to be announced. The news was revealed by the man himself on Scott Mills' Radio 1 show. Rinder has become a household name thanks to his popular ITV series, Judge Rinder, which has had over 200 episodes. But will he do as well when he's the one being judged? We will just have to wait and see how he does when he swaps the courtroom for the dance floor.

Olympic gymnast Claudia Fragapane is the 11th contestant to join the Strictly Come Dancing team. Nicknamed "the Pocket Rocket" because of her amazing flipping skills, she is looking forward to the sparkly costumes and learning the complicated dance routines!

The ninth celeb to join the Strictly line-up is BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty. Naga isn't the first BBC Breakfast face to take on the dancing challenge - weather presenter Carol Kirkwood made it through to week seven on the show last year. Hopefully she'll be able to give Naga some top tips on surviving the gruelling training schedule!

Daisy Lowe is the eighth star to join the Strictly line-up. The actress and model is keen to impress a certain member of her family. "I would love to make it into the final," she said. "My grandma has watched every episode for the past 14 years."

The seventh contestant to be revealed is actor Danny Mac, who's best known for being in Hollyoaks. He said: "There will be glitter. There will be sequins. I cannot wait!!!"

Louise Redknapp is the sixth celebrity who will compete in Strictly Come Dancing 2016. She used to be part of all-girl music group Eternal and is married to former footy star Jamie Redknapp. She says: "I’ve sung in front of crowds of thousands before but the idea of stepping out on to that famous dance floor with a world class professional dancer gives me butterflies just thinking about it!"

TV and radio presenter Melvin Odoom is the fifth celebrity to join Strictly Come Dancing. He said: "I need sparkle in my life and there's nothing more sparkly than Strictly. I just hope that my dance partner isn't too tall."

The fourth person to join the line-up for this year's Strictly might be a little bit familiar. Remember this guy? It's former Newsround presenter Ore Oduba. He said: "I don't think I've been more nervously excited - aside from on my wedding day. Let's hope for fewer tears!"

Singer Will Young is the second contestant to be taking part in this year's show. Will became famous in 2002 when he won reality competition Pop Idol. Since then he's won two Brit Awards and acted in films, television and on stage.

The first contender for the glitterball trophy is Ed Balls. Er... who? Ed Balls used to be a politician for the Labour Party and more recently appeared in The Great Sport Relief Bake Off. He impressed judges there with his baking ability - but will he be quite so hot on the dance floor?
