The results of a special investigation into the decisions behind the Iraq war have been published.

The Iraq war lasted for eight years and began after the US and UK invaded the country back in 2003.

Thousands of soldiers and Iraqi people lost their lives, and many people questioned why Britain and America got involved.

The BBC's Chris Mason explains what the report says.
