Thousands take part in Orange Battle in Italy

The Orange Battle happens every year in Ivrea in Italy - it's part of the city's historical carnival and see thousands of people taking part in fruit warfare.

Around 500,000 kgs of oranges were used by 4,000 people throwing the fruit around.

The event is thought to date back to medieval times.
