Extreme cold freezes South Korea's Yellow Sea

South Korea's Jeju island is usually known for warm weather and beaches.

This year's extreme cold has seen lakes and even the sea freeze over.

Aerial views from a helicopter show a thick layer of ice over the sea.

Flights have been cancelled as temperatures dip to -6 degrees celsius.
