Circus entertainer Gemma Kirby has just made her 500th flight as a human cannonball.

She was performing in front of 5,000 spectators at a show in Philadelphia, America.

In about three seconds she shot out of the cannon at 66 miles per hour and landed safely on an air cushion 32 metres away.

Gemma says: "It's like the most intense roller coaster you've ever tried to ride on."

Watch the clip of her at the circus show.

And remember, don't try anything like this at home, Gemma is a trained professional and performs only in strict safety conditions.
