Living underground to escape the heat

2014 was so hot in Australia, it's broken records.

In places like Coober Pedy in the Australian outback, temperatures can get unbearably hot.

That's why half of the people in the town live underground - in dugouts, where it's much cooler away from the sun.

The BBC's Jon Donnison has paid them a visit.
