Gael Clichy made it three for City, giving the Manchester side their third win in a row. It was Southampton's first home defeat of the season and they've been pushed into third by City in the table.

In Sunday's other Premier League game, Tottenham hosted Everton. Spurs went behind early on with this brilliant strike from Kevin Mirallas.

But Christian Eriksen equalised for Tottenham just six minutes later.

It was down to Roberto Soldado to score the winner for Tottenham - his first Premier League goal of the season. The 2-1 result means Tottenham go seventh in the table, while Everton fall to 10th.
