Singing spaceman Chris Hadfield has got permission to put a song he recorded on board the International Space Station back on YouTube.

Commander Hadfield shot to fame by posting a string of cool videos on how to make sandwiches and brush teeth in space.

But his version of the song Space Oddity, originally by British artist David Bowie, got 24 million views.

Bowie allowed it to go on YouTube for a year originally but has now extended that agreement.

The Agreement

It has not been on the online video site since that deal ended in May 2014.

But Canadian Chris, who has now retired, announced its return in a blog.

He said: "The day we took the video down we started to work again to get permission to get it re-posted."
