The footy pitch powered by feet
New technology that uses the running movements of football players to power floodlights on the pitch has been used for the first time in one of Brazil's poorest areas.
The state of the art design works by placing sensors under the turf that convert running power into electricity.
It'll be used to keep new footy pitches in some of Rio's favelas running after dark and kids there have been testing out.
