A big fire tore through Eastbourne Pier on Wednesday afternoon destroying the main roof.
Aerial footage shows the fire ripping through the historic building on the East Sussex coast, which was built in the 1870s.
Nobody was hurt, and it's thought the fire started as a result of an electrical fault.
Eastbourne MP Stephen Lloyd said he's confident the pier could be repaired.
"It's still very much still standing, and I'm very hopeful and confident that it will be reopening next year and be back in business," he said.
