Hodgson's England squad announced for the World Cup.

The England squad has been announced for the World Cup 2014 and here are some of the key players and young players on the plane to Brazil.
Goalkeeper Joe Hart will be looking to take the form he has had with league winners, Manchester City, into the World Cup tournament.

This is the man who will be protecting the goal in defence, Gary Cahill. He has had a strong season despite not winning any trophies but he will be a confident player at the back.

Steven Gerrard has been playing at his peak this season. Having lost the league to rivals City he will want to put his work rate and passing skills into the England team and win the trophy that England fans have been waiting for since 1966.

The striker will be wanting to get his shooting boots on and put the awful season Manchester United have had behind him. He'll be hoping to hit some form in the World Cup in Rio.
