Adorable animal snaps from photo contest

Check out these adorable animal snaps from a mischievous pets photograph contest.
This playful snap shows spaniel Dexter having a water fight with the photographer's daughter. It was awarded first place in the over-16s competition.

Adorable moggy Oreo was caught yawning in the sink by owner Donna. The photo won second prize. Judge Paul Walker said: "The expression of the cat in the sink was perfect for a comedy greetings card."

This brightly coloured bird came in joint third place. Owner Alexandria said: "She loves to run back and forth under the tap trying to catch the drips and if you’re washing up will try and jump in the bowl!"

Finally this cute pup came third in the under-16s category. Judge Pedro Martín Bartolomé said: "This portrait of a puppy with such a nice expression and wrapped up with sheets was too cute to leave out."

Check out these adorable animal snaps from the PetSavers Mischievous Pets Photograph Contest. Emily won first prize in the under-16s category for her snap of Gypsey playing with a water fountain on a hot day.

This pooch got a little more wet! Sarah took this snap of her cocker spaniel Billy splashing around at the beach.

This cheeky pooch won joint third place in the over-16s contest. Dog owner Hayley said: "After running around smashing flowers and digging up borders, my puppy Bourbon brought me this flower to say sorry."

This photo is titled "Suzie the shredding machine". It was taken by Rosie who said her hamster loves to shred waste paper and make a nest.

This snap of a labradoodle came second in the under-16s category. Owner Alex said: "My labradoodle puppy Brynley loves to climb into a little hole he has made in one of our bushes in the garden."
