Getting tongue-tied over names like Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch could be a thing of the past.

A new app which has been developed, works by scanning barcodes placed at hundreds of sights across Wales.

Users can access audio guides for place names and read explanations into the history of the area.

HistoryPoints, who have developed the app, say it aims to make pronunciation of names easier.
