Tiny baby antelope raised by sister

This adorable little antelope is being raised by his sister at Chester Zoo, after his mother rejected him.
Neo was born at Chester Zoo in October and is only 22cm tall. When he's fully grown he'll reach about 40cm.

Neo's sister Aluna is helping look after him. Keeper Claire McPhee said: ""Dik-dik mothers do not always take to their young and unfortunately Neo and his mum didn’t quite hit it off. Aluna is being a real calming influence on him."

Baby Neo is a Kirk's dik-dik antelope, one of the smallest species of antelope in the world.

"Little Neo is a little bit shy, nervous and jumpy around other dik diks. But Aluna is dishing out lots of special care and attention and it’s helping him integrate into the wider family group," said Claire.
